In 2007, Merry Riana produced her first album ‘A Christmas Gift’, which is a collaboration project with 5 church youth groups to help them raise funds, featuring five songs performed personally by herself.

Merry paid for all the cost in producing the Christmas CDs, while all profits went to the participating church youth groups. Within just 2 months, this non-profit project has successfully raised around S$10,000 for them.

Archbishop of the Catholic Church of Singapore, Most Rev Msgr Nicholas Chia, has this to say about this project: “‘A Christmas Gift’ started as a love project where one young lady, Merry Riana, decided to contribute her loving service to the Church. Soon, it touched more hearts and attracted many others to join in to contribute as well.”

So far, Project: A Christmas Gift has benefited many church youth groups, such as: NUS-CSS, NTU-CSA, SMU-FIDES, Revive Ministry, and Amplify Ministry.
